Ingredients

  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 package instant pistachio pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ⅛ cup water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup quartered maraschino cherries
  • 2 drops green food coloring
  • ½ cup chopped nuts

Sugar-Cinnamon Mixture:

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except sugar and cinnamon. Mixing with a spoon, as dough becomes stiff to mixer.
  2. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Sprinkle part of sugar-cinnamon mixture in bottom of 2 greased loaf pans.
  4. Add dough equally to pans.
  5. Sprinkle rest of sugar-cinnamon mixture on top.
  6. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, or until done.
  7. Cool and wrap in foil.
  8. Store for a few days before using. Freezes well.
