Ingredients
- 2 cups of wild rice (wash in water 4x’s)
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Cook rice about 45 min / 30 min for “REAL” rice.
- Fry bacon + drain.
- Saute veg in bacon grease.
- Mix together rice + veg + season.
- Pour over butter + mix.
Notes
Dash of nutmeg is good.
