Ingredients

  • ½ pound Velveeta cheese
  • 1 pound butter
  • 20 slices bread, crust removed and rolled flat
  • 2 cups sesame seeds
  • 2 cans crab, 7 to 8 ounces each

Instructions

  1. Melt cheese and ½ pound butter in a double boiler or microwave.
  2. Cool, then add crab.
  3. Spread on rolled bread. Roll up like logs. Melt remaining butter and add dip tops in butter, then roll in sesame seeds.
  4. Place seam side down on cookie sheet. Freeze, then put in plastic bag.
  5. When ready to use, slightly cut into ⅓ pieces. Bake in hot oven until brown.

Notes

The directions are partly difficult to read, but no major instructions were assumed beyond standardizing wording.
“Velveeta” appears to be written as “velevetta cheese.”
Oven temperature is not written; “hot oven” is written on the recipe.
