Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Velveeta cheese
  • 1 pound butter
  • 20 slices bread, without crust
  • 2 cups sesame seeds
  • 1 or 2 cans crab, 7 to 8 ounces each

Instructions

  1. Roll each bread slice flat.
  2. Melt cheese and ½ pound butter in microwave. Cool.
  3. Add crab after cool.
  4. Spread mixture on rolled-out bread slices. Roll each bread slice into a log.
  5. Melt remaining butter. Dip logs in butter, then roll in sesame seeds.
  6. Place seam-side down on cookie sheet. Freeze in plastic bag.
  7. When ready to use, cut logs in thirds and bake in hot oven until brown.

No exact oven temperature or baking time is written; “hot oven until brown” is written on the card.
