Ingredients

  • 2 cups of wild rice (wash in water 4x’s)
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Cook rice about 45 min / 30 min for “REAL” rice.
  2. Fry bacon + drain.
  3. Saute veg in bacon grease.
  4. Mix together rice + veg + season.
  5. Pour over butter + mix.

Notes

Dash of nutmeg is good.
