Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 each red, yellow, and green pepper, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped, or more
  • 1 can Shoepeg corn
  • 1 can black-eyed peas
  • 1 can of pinto beans

Optional:

  • Hot sauce
  • Jalapeño peppers

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil. Add oil and pepper.
  2. Pour juice over all ingredients.
  3. Can add hot sauce or jalapeño peppers.

Notes

  • The card appears to say “bring to boil + cool” near the dressing, but it is partly covered/unclear.
  • The canned ingredients appear to be “1 can each” Shoepeg corn, black-eyed peas, and pinto beans.
