Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter
Bar Layer:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup nuts
Pineapple Filling:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
Instructions
- Mix crust ingredients together. Press into a 7x11 pan.
- Bake at 350° until light brown.
- Beat eggs well. Add brown sugar, flour, vanilla, salt, and nuts.
- Put on top of baked crust and bake for 25 minutes.
- Cool.
- For pineapple filling, beat eggs. Add remaining filling ingredients and cook until thick in double boiler.
- Let cool, then spread over baked mixture.
- Sprinkle with [unclear] nuts.
- Cut in squares.
- Store in refrigerator.
