Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups 100% Bran Flakes
- 4 cups Kellogg’s All-Bran
- 1 cup Crisco
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 unbeaten eggs
- 1 quart buttermilk
Instructions
- Pour boiling water over bran flakes, All-Bran, Crisco, and sugar. Let stand until cool.
- Add unbeaten eggs and buttermilk. Beat well.
- Add soda, flour, and salt. Mix well.
- Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
- Store unbaked batter in refrigerator.
