Ingredients
Cake
- 1 can crushed pineapple, 8 to 11 ounces
- 1 yellow cake mix, 15 to 25 ounces
- 3 large eggs
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Frosting:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- ¾ cup evaporated milk
- ½ stick butter
Instructions
- Mix eggs, water, oil, and vanilla together first.
- Add pineapple to the mixture and mix well.
- Add cake mix. Stir well and put in pan.
- Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
- During the last 15 minutes, combine frosting ingredients. Stir over heat until combined.
- Take cake out and mix in nuts and coconut. Poke holes in cake and pour this over cake.
