Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 ½ cups scalded milk
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 baked pie crust
- Meringue
Instructions
- Mix sugar, salt, and flour.
- Add slightly beaten egg yolks.
- Pour scalded milk over this mixture.
- Cook until thickens, stirring constantly. Cook 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
- Add peanut butter.
- Cool and pour into baked crust.
- Add meringue and bake.
