Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or oleo
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup cocoa
- Salt
- Vanilla
- Nuts
Instructions
- Cream butter or oleo with sugar until well combined.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Spread batter in a greased baking pan.
- Bake at 350° until set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool before cutting.
