Ingredients

  • 6 cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups margarine, 3 sticks
  • 1 ½ cups evaporated milk
  • 2 packages chocolate chips, 12 ounces each
  • 1 jar marshmallow creme, 13 ounces
  • 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk in a large saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
  3. Continue boiling, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  6. Add marshmallow creme, chopped nuts, and vanilla.
  7. Beat or stir until well combined.
  8. Pour into a buttered pan.
  9. Let cool until firm, then cut into squares.
