Ingredients

  • 7 cups cucumbers
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons canning salt

Optional:

  • Carrots
  • Other vegetables
  • Mustard seed
  • Celery
  • Garlic

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar and white vinegar to a boil and cool.
  2. Cover the cucumbers with canning salt. Draw water awhile.
  3. You can also add carrots, other vegetables, mustard seed, celery, and garlic.
  4. Pour cooled vinegar mixture over cucumbers.
  5. Leave in fridge for 3 days.
