Ingredients

  • 10 cooked lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups sour cream, or chives and sour cream
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese, sliced, or Cheez Whiz
  • 1 ½ pounds bacon, cooked
  • 2 cups onions
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add cheese to mashed hot potatoes.
  2. Mix onion in sour cream.
  3. Cook bacon and crumble. Cook onions in butter.
  4. Layer 4 noodles on bottom of pan.
  5. Spread sour cream and ⅓ of bacon on top of noodles.
  6. Layer 3 noodles, then potato mixture and ½ of bacon.
  7. Layer remaining noodles and rest of bacon. Pour onion and butter on top. Cover.
  8. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

The back of the card is a little difficult to read. “Mix onion in sour cream” and “cook onions in butter” both appear to be written, so the onion step may have involved mixing cooked onions with sour cream or dividing onions between those steps.
No assumed instructions added beyond combining the front and back of the card into one recipe.
