Ingredients
- 2 cups flour + 2 tablespoons
- 1 cup white sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup chopped nuts, optional
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups raw rhubarb
Topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup boiling water
Instructions
- Mix flour, white sugar, milk, chopped nuts, vanilla, and raw rhubarb together.
- Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top.
- Pour boiling water over the brown sugar topping.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the cake portion is set and the top is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
